I have a 2005 BMW M3 E46 with the 19 inch wheels. The ride on my car is really stiff and the bumps travel through the car and make it quite harsh on passengers. My question is would 18 wheels with a greater tire profile make it a noticeably more comfortable ride?

I have a 2003 TTR 125 with the smaller, stock wheels. I would like to make the switch to bigger wheels (16in/19in). I'm looking for a good source to buy from. Either a reputable website - or an actual store in Southern California. Also - looking for a great price.
You can also have your hubs laced to the larger rims. I changed out some rims on my dual sport to make it more like a supermoto. I bought the rims and spokes from the link below. If you don't know how to lace and true rims (and have the correct tools) you will have to have someone do that part for you. It will be less expensive than buying new wheels, or buying factory parts to change the rim size.

What kind of adjustments do I need to put bigger wheels on an originally 16'' car? Will I need to do anything with the springs, fender or anything else? Help me out here...
Extenders for the spring, they can possibly raise the car up about 2 or 3 inches max. my brother put them on my 98 Camry and he fit 20"s on it. AKA Height boosters, or Suspension Riser, etc.. Most automotive stores have them.
It has nothing to do with the wheels. Any size wheel can be on the car and the recommended pressure is the same. It will be in your manual, or on the tire placard attached to the vehicle door edge, doorpost, glove box door or fuel door. The pressure marked on the tires is the MAXIMUM pressure for the tire, and in many cases is high enough that the tires will wear out prematurely in the centre.

19 inch Carrera Sport size discrepancy? -
I have been looking at the 19 inch 10 spoke Carrera Sport wheels for the 2005-20008 Boxster/Cayman models and noticed that the rear tire size is noted at 10 inches but is larger for the 997. However, I was checking the specs for this wheel on the Porsche website car configurator for the 987.2 models and it lists these wheels and being 11.5 inches wide for the rears?? Does anyone think this is incorrect or do the 987.2 models have larger wheel wells or differents offset to accomodate the wider wheel? Likewise for the 987.2, I can't speak for them, but 11.5 seems out of whack. A similar mistake was made in the 2005-2008 timeframe, where the Carrera Sport were listed as 11" or 11.5"...
