Accel doesn't make a custom fit set of plug wires for your car, so you will have to buy a universal set made by Accel that matches your boot style and wire length the closest. You should be able to find them at you local parts store or you can always get them from Jegs.com. Summit Racing.com has custom sets for your car made by NGK, Autolite, ACDelco and MSD.

I have a 91 dodge daytona 3.0 V6 SOHC FI and my buddy insists that if i put msd plug wires and accel performance spark plugs on it that it will increase the horsepower, so im just wondering if that is true. 2nd question i would like to put a K&N cold air intake in it but they dont make the kit for it and the guy i talked to at the local advanced auto parts said that it can't be done on that engine because the air intake runs through the ecu, so does anyone know if this can be done or not and if so how i would do it? Last part of the question, what else can be done to increase the horsepower on the car. I'm trying to get it ready for the spectator drag races this summer.
P.S. i know this isnt the car of choice for most people when it comes to racing but i've put a lot of time into this car both body and engine work, and i find it to be a lot of fun to drive while i finish my 78 trans am y88. Thank you for your time and have a good day/night.
no you won't get more horsepower, you will get a better spark and make better use of the horsepower you have.
As far as a cold air kit I would just buy a K&N air filter and put it in the stock air box, you will get the same results other than the sucking noise. If you want a little more horsepower you could put a header on it and a good flowing exhaust system.

i am going to buy some accel plug wires but you have to cut them to the length you need. does the length matter, and if so, how do i find out how long to make them?
Unless you are going to wrap them around the car, length doesn't make that much difference in most cases. If you are replacing existing wires take the old ones off 1 at a time and make the new one to match. Then install the new one. This will result in the right length and you will not get the firing order messed up. If starting from scratch. Put wire on plug, route it where you want it. Mark wire at distributor and cut wire 2 in longer.

Material expands and stretches over irregular surfaces
Length is 6 and width is 1.250

why would my accel shorty spark plug on cylinder # 2 be loose and have oil on it? and i also found oil residue on the block that was drippping below #2 spark plug hole. the other spark plugs also have oil on them. motor has approx. 2500-3000 miles on it( gm 350 260hp crate motor)
Small amounts of oil on plug threads is pretty norm for the small block chevy engines.
Most of the times, it's not even from the plug holes. It's from a leaking valve cover gasket.
Then other times when it is from plug holes it's from valve seals not fully sealing.
Your plug got loose because you didnt tighten it enough or you used the wrong plug for your heads (gasket seat vs taper seat)
Im helping a buddy tune up his car. I've never dealt with unassembled spark plug wires. Is dielectric grease required? It is in the directions for the Accel wires, but I'm not sure if its NEEDED or if it is optional. Please help!
Joe
Buddy having the dielectric grease is a good thing to have and it keeps the plug wires from sticking to the spark plugs.Dielectric grease is also used in all ignition modules because heat can destroy them.Don't ever say no to dielectric grease on most things for the car especially the ignition systems. GOOD LUCK TOP YOU
